Know your own self: this type, this due degree
Of blindness, weakness, heaven bestows on you.
Submit-in this or any other sphere,
Secure to be as blessed as you can bear;
Safe in the hand of one disposing Power,
If in the natal or the mortal hour.
All nature is but art unknown to you;
All chance direction which you cannot see;
All discord, harmony not understood;
All partial evil, universal good.
In spite of pride and erring reason,
One truth is clear, WHATEVER IS, IS RIGHT.
